Analytical/Industrial X-Ray Tubes
Analytical
Since the diffraction phenomenon of X rays was discovered, X-ray analysis is applied to research of crystal structure, qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis of elements and compounds, stress measurement, X-ray spectroscopy, etc.
Toshiba can provides ANALIX (Toshiba X-ray tubes for analytical application) with various-material targets for wide range of applications.
ANALIX for X-ray diffraction is used for various analysis systems for single crystal And high polymer structure, and it has an air-insulated, water-cooled and grounded anode with four-radiation beryllium windows. Line focus is available through one pair of windows, and point focus through the other pair.
ANALIX for stress measurement is an X-ray tube to measure an internal stress of material by observing deviations of the lattice spacing from its normal state by means of X-ray diffraction.
ANALIX for fluorescence spectroscopy is installed to a housing to be filled with insulation oil and to be protected against electric shock and X-ray radiation.
All ANALIXs hav e a water-cooled anode and a very thin beryllium window, so they provide high X-ray transmittance to wide range of X-ray wave length.

Industrial
Industrial X-ray tubes are provided with various applications such as non-destructive inspection and thickness gauging. The vacuum envelope of industrial X-ray tube is made by glass or ceramic. Ceramic material is mechanically strong, which can makes X-ray tube with portability and good handling.
