X-Ray Tubes |

TOSHIBA rotating anode
x-ray tubes are applied to various kind of diagnostic
apparatus.
These tubes are divided into several types by maximum
tube voltage, anode heat capacity, focal spot size,
etc.
The rotating anode is constructed with specially processed
Rhenium-tungsten faced molybdenum target. Graphite
faced target is used for a tube with larger anode
heat capacity.
Beside with general diagnostics use, TOSHIBA x-ray
tubes are used for angiography, mammography, etc.
TOSHIBA can supply x-ray tubes with or without housings.
For usig IEC Publ.60526 type high voltage cable receptacles,
we can reload for other manufacturers' x-ray tubes. |

General |
TOSHIBA provides various type of diagnostic X-ray
tubes per their application, which specified by
maximum tube voltage, anode heat capacity, focal
spot size, etc.
The rotating anode is constructed of specially
processed Rhenium-tungsten faced molybdenum target.
TOSHIBA can supply both insert and housing assembly
type.
They are replaceable with other brand X-ray tubes
as the high voltage receptacle is designed to
comply with IEC 60526 standard.

Anogiography |
Toshiba rotating X-ray tubes for angiography
have excellent performance for high repetition
exposures such as cinefluorographic operations.
To maintain large anode heat capacity, the rotating
anode is constructed from Rhenium-Tungsten surface
faced with Graphite. For anode heat capacity with
1300kJ X-ray tubes, grid controlled triple focus
is used to accomplish fast pulse-fluoroscopy.
Also, by using water-cooled method, the housings
have high cooling rate (4000W) and this effect
can shorten interval period of radiographic exposures.

Mammography |
Toshiba rotating anode X-ray tubes for mammography
have double focal spots with self-biased method.
Molybdenum target is used for rotating anode and
low X-ray absorption beryllium is installed for
window. Therefore you can get high contrast images
of soft-organization. By using self-biased method,
you are able to adjust conditions at every single
exposure. This will also lead to obtain clear
magnification images.
