Toshiba is one of the leading manufacturers in the world of Klystron with a wide frequency range, from the UHF through the X band. Through joint development with the High Energy Accelerator Research Organization, sponsored by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology, the Japan Atomic Energy Research Institute, and various other research insitutes both inside and outside Japan, we have developed and introduced the world's most powerful Klystrons, with frequencies of 508MHz/1.2MW in continuous wave tubes, 2.8GHz/100MW in (10sec.) pulsed tubes, 5.7GHz/50MW in (10sec.) pulsed tubes, and 11.4GHz/75MW in (10sec.) pulsed tubes.
