General

Toshiba Electron Tubes & Devices provides various types of rotating-anode X-ray tubes for a wide range of diagnostic applications, which are specified by maximum tube voltage, anode heat capacity, focal spot size, etc.

Rotating anodes are constructed with targets made of either tungsten or specially processed hard-wearing rhenium-tungsten faced molybdenum. Developed by Toshiba Electron Tubes & Devices specifically for X-ray tubes, the tungsten used in these devices is of world-class quality and has been processed to prevent recrystallization.

Toshiba Electron Tubes & Devices supplies both insert and housing assembly types of X-ray tubes. Moreover, they are replaceable with other brands of X-ray tubes as the high voltage receptacle complies with IEC 60526.
