Each Toshiba X-ray tube for angiography uses a high capacity anode made of rhenium tungsten-molybdenum with a graphite-backed target, and offers excellent performance for high repetition exposures such as cine radiography.
X-ray tubes with an anode heat capacity of 1300kJ have three focal spots which makes them suitable for high-input radiographic image switched from clear fluoroscopic image, and facilitate grid controlled high-speed pulse-fluoroscopy
Moreover, adoption of a water-cooling system has realized housing with a high cooling rate (4000W), which facilitates both shorter intervals between exposures and a great number of exposures.
