An LM-CT tube is a compact ultra-high cooling X-ray tube that uses hydrodynamic bearings in its rotation mechanism and an all-metal (tungsten and molybdenum) high capacity anode.
Hydrodynamic bearings contribute lower vibration, lower noise, and greater reliability in terms of all-metal anode rotation. Temperature distribution uniformity in all-metal anodes enhances radiation cooling.
